I grew up across Pakistan, Switzerland, and the United States. Moving taught me to notice which parts of childhood are treated as normal in one place and impossible in another.

WHY THIS BECAME PERSONAL

Soccer was never just a sport in my own life.

It gave me routine, teammates, confidence, movement, and some of my strongest memories of school. In Sargodha, seeing a girl watch from outside the game made me understand that I had never counted the cost of the ball itself.

That experience began as a girls’ sports effort. Listening widened it into a question about poverty, school resources, public health, and what adults decide children can live without.

Noor is a Pakistani American senior at the Academy for Health and Medical Sciences and a dual-enrollment student at Raritan Valley Community College.

Her work moves between adolescent mental-health research, emergency medicine, medical writing, sport, and community health.

I learned to generate it.

Tutoring, selling original art, and Amazon e-commerce gave Noor ways to turn her time, creativity, and business skills into project funds. Matched donations, partners, and in-kind support helped those earnings travel further.
